Customer Signal CAPI

Tell Meta which enquiries are important. So it can find similar people — automatically!

Show Meta what happens after the first message. Send signals when an enquiry becomes a serious lead or a purchase, using your rules. Give your campaigns more useful information to learn from.

For businesses and marketers running WhatsApp, Instagram, or Messenger ads.

The useful details

Help Meta learn what a good enquiry looks like.

Recognise the enquiries that matter

Tell the difference between a valid customer, someone ready to buy, and a confirmed purchase. Use the stage that matches what actually happened.

Send signals automatically

Set a workflow to send an eligible signal when your chosen conditions are met. You can also send a signal from a conversation when needed.

Tell normal and high-value purchases apart

Set purchase values that reflect your offer, so a higher-value customer can be reported with the appropriate value.

Know whether your signal reached Meta

Send a test signal first. Review delivery results to see what was accepted and what needs attention.

An example, not a customer testimonial

From a course enquiry to an enrolment

The everyday problem

An ad brings in questions about a course. Some people are exploring; others share their requirements or pay to enrol. Counting every message the same misses that difference.

A clearer way to work

Meta gets information about meaningful customer outcomes, helping it learn beyond the first message.

See how to begin
One step at a time

Connect once. Set your rules. Send your signals.

  1. 01

    Connect your Meta account

Follow the Optimise Ad Performance setup. Choose where Meta should receive your events; this is called a dataset.

  2. 02

Choose when to send a signal

Decide what makes an enquiry valid, likely to buy, or purchased. Set up the matching workflow and purchase values.

  3. 03

Send a test, then go live

Check that Meta accepts your test signal. Once your setup is ready, use the workflow to report real customer outcomes.

Good questions

Let’s make it clear

What does CAPI mean?

Conversions API. It is the connection used to send configured customer events from Parrotron to Meta. You work with plain-language customer stages in Parrotron.

Do I have to send every signal by hand?

No. You can configure workflows to send eligible signals automatically when the conditions you choose are met. Manual signals are also available when you need them.

Does it automatically guarantee more customers?

It gives Meta additional information for campaign optimisation. Results also depend on your campaign settings, offer, audience, budget, and the accuracy of the signals you send.

Is every message a purchase?

No. Choose the stage that matches what actually happened. A price enquiry is different from a confirmed payment.

Does Customer Signal run my ads?

You still manage your campaigns in Meta. Customer Signal reports the configured outcomes that can help inform optimisation.

How is this different from Parrotron Web?

Customer Signal focuses on stages in messaging conversations. Parrotron Web helps you understand activity and attribution on your website.
